HOW DOES THE WATCH WORK?
- The watch requires a SIM card with load for data and outgoing calls. You can control the settings of the watch through an application in your smartphone. You can also access the GPS location and maps in your smartphone.
WHY DOES THE WATCH NEED MOBILE DATA?
- Mobile Data is needed to transmit GPS location information to your smartphone.
WHAT IF SOMEONE WE DON'T KNOW CALLS MY CHILD'S WATCH?
- This is not possible because only saved numbers can call the watch and vice versa. You will be the one to input these saved numbers through the application in your smart phone.
HOW ACCURATE IS LOCATION DATA OF THE WATCH?
- The watch uses GPS Satellite location information so it is pretty accurate, though there might be slight deviations. In the event that GPS signal is not available, it will use LBS location which is the nearest cell site in the area. Does it defeat the purpose of having a GPS watch? We don't think so. The important part for us is that we know the general location of our child and that they are where they are supposed to be.
WHO CAN USE THIS WATCH?
- Kids as young as 2 years old can already wear the Kidsafe GPS Watch. Though they might not be able to make and receive calls yet, parents can still benefit from the GPS and Monitoring functions of the watch. There is no age limit for the watch also. Even those who are young at heart can still wear the watch (example: elderly, your nanny, etc).

- Best to give us a call (our number is in the manual that came with your watch) so our technical experts can help you step by step. Your watch also comes with warranty (see below) so best to test out your watch right away!
